Kimberly Chaney, CPA

Kim founded the firm in 2006 with the philosophy that being a CPA is more about financial goals than financial forms. Any accountant can “do the math,” but only a select few work as your partner to develop financial systems and strategies that improve the prosperity of your business. Kim took the time to assess individual situations, financial needs and aspirations. She used her experience, intelligence and intuition to help countless businesses in and around Frederick, MD run more smoothly and profitably.

Kim has held her CPA license for over 40 years. She has been a member of both the ACNB Corporation's and ACNB Bank's Boards of Directors since January 2020. She was a director of Frederick County Bancorp, Inc. and Frederick County Bank from 2013 until 2020. Kim formerly held senior management positions in several Frederick County companies in the construction, real estate and retail industries, and she is a long time member and past President of Rotary Club of Carroll Creek.

In 2024, Kim passed the torch of Kimberly Chaney CPA LLC to Sarah Moul to pick up where she left off. She remains an active Consultant to Chaney and Moul CPAs LLC, lending her expertise and wisdom on a regular basis.

 

You'll still find Kim around town - active on the Board of ACNB Bank and involved with many local nonprofits. When she's not in town, she's traveling the country with her husband to spend time with their children and grandchildren.
