Sarah Moul, CPA, CFP®

Sarah ventured out on her own with the hopes of creating an accounting firm that would stand out from the typical transactional nature of the industry. She believes in the power of relationships and knows that your financial partner can only be successful if they take time to get to know your personal goals and values. She took over Kimberly Chaney CPA LLC in 2024 based on shared client-focused philosophies and meaningful client connections.

Sarah is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She graduated from Loyola University with a degree in accounting. Sarah began her early career in public accounting serving a wide range of clients in various industries. She moved on to Corporate Finance at McCormick & Company, Inc. in forecasting, planning, and analysis. While she enjoyed the corporate experience, Sarah soon realized that her true passion lies in helping individuals, small businesses, their owners, and their families. Since then, she has been advising individuals on strategic tax planning and wealth building, while also helping businesses achieve successful and sustainable growth.

Sarah lives in Frederick with her husband, three children, two dogs, and one cat. Her husband, Ryan, is also a CPA. She loves living, working, and raising her family in Frederick and has a deep commitment to the success of its community members. Sarah serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Heartly House, Inc. where she is passionately committed to advancing the organization’s mission.
